For passionate musicians looking to explore the art of songwriting, join us as we dive deep into creating a great song.
Our instructors will guide you through the process, from developing catchy and authentic lyrics to composing a melody and exploring the intricacies of harmony and song structure. Collaborating with other young musicians, you'll experiment with different ideas and styles to find your own unique voice and creative identity.
But songwriting isn't just about the technical aspects - it's also about expressing your emotions, telling your story, and connecting with others on a deeper level. Rock 101 Songwriting Sessions offers a supportive and collaborative environment where you'll be free to explore your ideas and receive guidance and feedback from experienced instructors and fellow young musicians.
The week culminates in a coffee house concert at a local Albuquerque hotspot, where you'll have the opportunity to showcase your original songs and perform in front of a live audience. This is your chance to develop your songwriting skills, gain valuable performance experience, and create great memories and friends.
Your session also includes daily snacks, a Rock 101 shirt, and other cool swag.

Future music makers, join us this summer at Rock 101 Music Academy for a crash course in music production. From composing and recording to mixing and mastering, our instructors will teach you everything you need to know to produce your unique sound.
But that's not all - at the end of the week, you'll showcase your newly acquired skills in a thrilling Beat Battle. You'll demonstrate your creativity, technical proficiency, and music production prowess with your unique beat that represents your personal style.
Music Production 101 is the perfect opportunity for students of all levels to explore the world of music production and unleash their creativity. Let's create something epic!

Materials Needed: laptop, tablet, or smartphone, with GarageBand, and headphones.
