Details for the 2022 Fall Semester:

The Rock 101 Band League is open to any musician 10-18 years old with basic knowledge of their instrument. (not for brand new musicians)

  • 12 weeks of 120-minute weekly band rehearsals 

  • 2 shows at premier venues around Albuquerque, NM

  • A real band experience

All band rehearsals will be scheduled on SUNDAY AFTERNOONS/EVENINGS*
*Please note: Musicians will be placed into one of the following timeslots on Sundays: 1:00-3:00 pm or 3:30-5:30 pm.

Each band will also get the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned with live performances at music venues around Albuquerque, NM.

The Rock 101 Band League registration is $515 for the Fall Semester.

Fees cover:

  • Instructor pay

  • Venue fees 

  • Sound engineers 

  • Administrative costs

  • Equipment/Maintenance 

    - NEW TO BAND LEAGUE THIS FALL 2022 -

    • An extended 12-week semester (10-week semester prior)

    • Each band will get the chance to work alongside professional graphic designers to create custom logos and merch for their bands

    • • •
    New participants will receive a welcome bundle with a Rock 101 Band League t-shirt, sticker, and backstage VIP pass for concerts, as well as a custom show poster.

Band League Dates

12 weeks in duration during:

The semester will take place over 12 consecutive Sundays.

Week 6 - October 30: Halloween Show @ Rock 101 Headquarters

Week 11 - December 4: Dress Rehearsal

Week 12 - December 11: FINALE SHOW (Location TBA)

ROCK 101 SAFETY:

Rock 101 Music Academy had a professional COVID-19 Safety Assessment conducted on April 27th, 2021 at our facility at Covenant Presbyterian Church. We plan to adhere to the safety protocol recommendations proposed in the report, including individual room capacity limits, handwashing stations, outside check-in/check-out procedures, among others. A more comprehensive list can be found on the Rock 101 Summer Sessions Policy and Agreement form below.

A solid portion of the weekly sessions will be spent in small groups in designated areas and rooms as well as outside. Activities with the entire group will be limited and mostly conducted outside. 

Face Masks are optional for all people in indoor public spaces.
