Student of the Month: January 2026 Edition
Oh, adult students, how we love you! You inspire us with your hard work, your creativity, and your pursuit of joy. January’s Student of the Month exemplifies all of these traits and we are excited to celebrate her!
Kaitlynn Mason
Kaitlynn comes from a family where music held a happy space. She grew up around family members playing the guitar and with a mom who loved taking her to concerts. When adult life started to feel a bit heavy, music seemed the obvious answer. She made the goal of reconnecting with her joy, signed up for guitar lessons, and has been smiling ever since.
Kaitlynn enjoys learning guitar and is excited to start singing along with her songs. She is particularly interested in guitar theory and how it translates into playing music. Although Kaitlynn has been taking guitar lessons for only a couple of months, her persistence and positivity have already impressed us. Says Eddie, her instructor: “Kaitlynn comes in with a great, upbeat attitude. She is always prepared and is learning everything super quickly.”
When she is not playing guitar, you will find Kaitlynn pursuing joy in many different ways! From crocheting and reading to yoga and outdoor activities, Kaitlynn is intent on continuing to explore and learn. We are psyched to be part of her agenda. Keep up the great work, Kaitlynn!
